Community Building

We all want to live in communities we're proud of. We all want to live in a nice home, with a short trip to work and a place close-by where our children can play without fear of danger or disease. We all want safety and security. We all want food for our plates and a roof over our heads. And we all want hope.

Unfortunately, this is the real world. Things go scarce. Budgets run tight. The sun doesn't always shine and the crops don't always grow.

But we can plan for a better future. Right now, we can plan for communities that grow into wonderful places to live. That provide engines for job development. That churn out decent schools for our children. That have streets that are safe to walk down.

Business doesn't have to mean population growth. Business doesn't have to mean low-income wages for most with few reaping the creme at the top. Planned business opportunity can mean job growth that utilizes a community's natural strengths, to work to bring in businesses that work with a community, to partner with a community for the betterment of all.

Historically, the next generation could always look back at their parents and know what their future held. But it is our moral obligation to do better by our children. They are our responsibility. We brought them into this world and we owe them nothing less than a brighter future and a better quality of life.
